This is a Phyllis! Not only is she my host sister-in-Christ, she is also the local pastor I am serving with this summer.
These are children from a local orphanage. We are making 'cartoon faces' (the kenyan equlivant of funny faces)!

Tami,
I just met you once (on the bus back to the parking lot after Easter service), but you've been on my prayer list ever since I heard of your Kenyan plans.
It is inspiring to hear of how God is working through you in large and small ways to do His work.
I just want to encourage you with this note from someone you don't really even know that there are many more people praying for you than you can realize.

Just wanted you to know what an encouragement God's faithfulness to you throughout your time in Kenya has been to me as I prepare to go to Mexico.
Also, wanted to let you know that you are daily in my prayers, my friend. (every morning at 10am Seattle time) I can't wait to hear more from you when you get home. Looks like I'll still be here as God is changing once again my timetable for leaving for Mexico.
